If it doesn't, the other encrypted options would be svn+ssh, which has the disadvantage of giving all the committers filesystem access, or https, which is probably the best but can be painful to configure.

Or perhaps Xcode does support SASL, but needs some other mechanism than DIGEST-MD5.
