XCode Jump To Definition

  • Subject: XCode Jump To Definition

Hi,

I am using XCode version 3.2.1 (Snow Leopard) and I currently having the following issue,

I have a project containing C/C++ files which do not have a standard C/C++ file extensions, I am using *.zc as my extension. I have set all files as sourcecode.cpp.cpp within the project and the project compiles fine.

But now my "Jump To Definition" feature does not work, XCode is not able to index the non standard extension C/C++ files even though I have set the file type correctly. This is really frustrating as I have to rely on Eclipse for all my source file editing. Indexing within eclipse just works great.

Can someone suggest as to how I can fix this issue within XCode. Changing the file extensions is not an option in my case.

Thanks,

Vivek
