BOOL type deprecated in 64-bit?

Hello list

I normally use Xcode with the Research Assistant on, and by chance I touched on a declaration containing a BOOL value and for my surprise the Research Assistant states that such a basic data type is NOT supported in 64-bit targets. Is this true???? Or is this a RA's / documentation bug? I tried to verify this information in the 64-bit transition guides but AFAICT they do not mention BOOL at all. If this true, which data type should we use instead?

JV <- completely, utterly flabbergasted.

PS - I am using Xcode 3.1.2 on Mac OS X 10.5.6 (Intel) using the latest documentation update.
