I have created a relatively simple Cocoa app using Xcode 3.1.2 (my

When the Xcode project fileset is moved to Tiger with Xcode 2.5, I
have the
following 2 issues:
1) The app built on Tiger/Xcode2.5 fails to run cuz (according to the
console log) the nib could not be opened. Yet the nib is present in
the app
bundle. If I copy the same app built on Leopard (Xcode 3.1.2) to my
Tiger
system, it works just fine; the packages appear to be identical.
Also, 2) Xcode 2.5 complains that the Xcode project file was written
by a
newer Xcode version (and it was, 3.1.2); and "this version of Xcode
may not
be able to open the project". Good news is that it could open it. Is
there a
way I can revert the 3.1.2 project file format to a "2.5 compatible"
form,
and elim this warning?
See "Project Formats" at file:///Developer/Documentation/DocSets/com.apple.ADC_Reference_Library.DeveloperTools.docset/Contents/Resources/Documents/documentation/DeveloperTools/Conceptual/XcodeProjectManagement/010-Overview_of_Xcode_Projects/chapter_2_section_4.html
Set the Project Format to 2.0 compatible.
Then open the nib in InterfaceBuilder and save it as IB 2.0 compatible.
In the future, if you want to use a project with Xcode 2.5, create it
with Xcode 2.5. The project templates supplied with each version of
Xcode are set up to use the features of that version, and may not work
on previous versions.
