I have created a relatively simple Cocoa app using Xcode 3.1.2 (my first I
might add - its entirely possible that all the issues below are the result
of cockpit trouble)
When the Xcode project fileset is moved to Tiger with Xcode 2.5, I have the
following 2 issues:
1) The app built on Tiger/Xcode2.5 fails to run cuz (according to the
console log) the nib could not be opened. Yet the nib is present in the app
bundle. If I copy the same app built on Leopard (Xcode 3.1.2) to my Tiger
system, it works just fine; the packages appear to be identical.
Also, 2) Xcode 2.5 complains that the Xcode project file was written by a
newer Xcode version (and it was, 3.1.2); and "this version of Xcode may not
be able to open the project". Good news is that it could open it. Is there a
way I can revert the 3.1.2 project file format to a "2.5 compatible" form,
and elim this warning?
Ideas? Comments?
