Until I pick an online host I decided to get it running on my local machine. For anyone who wants to do this I found a good tutorial by Mark Kirby The only error I found on the page was where you edit the svn.conf file. The following line is broken over two lines in the post but should be on one.
This: LoadModule dav_svn_module
/usr/libexec/apache2/mod_dav_svn.so
Should be this: LoadModule dav_svn_module /usr/libexec/apache2/mod_dav_svn.so
Other than that it was really easy and straight forward.
Over at the Apple Blog there is a post on setting up Xcode with subversion.
