It's simply rather unfortunate, however Xcode (the latest version as

That's funny on several levels. Google "input manager" to find out why.

It's been commented here because a Developer has said that they use a 13.3" Macbook for
development work and find the screen is too small.

The best size for code is unlikely to be full screen, even on a 13" screen. A more useful size if probably full-length and "wide enough." The system's built-in Zoom command easily does this on a per-window basis, and not just width and height, but also location, so that one can get oft-used files zoomed out side-by-side. I submit this is *at least* as useful as a hack that blindly zooming to fullscreen, and it doesn't require installing an input manager. (Set key bindings for Zoom in Xcode prefs.)

Another system-wide feature useful on small screens is content magnification (enabled via "zoom" in Universal Access) and used by holding down Ctrl-Opt and hitting +/- or (even better) Ctrl plus a two-finger drag or mousewheel. You can also jump between normal and a pre-set magnification by setting the desired mag, then hitting Cmd- Opt-8 repeatedly.

In short, anyone put off Xcode because it "still isnt compatible with MegaZoomer" (please pardon me, I can't help smiling at that) is someone who probably hasn't yet investigated what the unmodified system can do.
