I've reported this before (and filed bugs) and was somehow convinced I
was special and it was not a universal experience, but after buying a
shiny new MacBook Pro and installing all dev tools from scratch, I am
no longer convinced.
The good news, it is less frequent than before.
The bad news - it still happens a few times a day when editing ruby
code in organizer.
The problem - when navigating around the document using the arrow
keys, XCode will crash - usually when arrowing across a syntactically
significant character - which tells me the syntax coloring code must
be involved.
While this is most annoying, I could forgive it if XCode would
implement crash recovery for dirty documents like VI and emacs do so I
didn't lose an hours work at a time (I try to save often, but I get
absorbed - you know how it goes).
I've filed more bugs and filled out many a crash catcher log. This
situation has gone on for over 6 months now.
