Thanks, Craig. The TextEdit app doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for, but I looked through all the example code and the Spotlighter example I think is the first step in my quest. I just need to add something to get the snippets. (I say "just", like it easy  .  .  .  :)

I'll be back after I digest this  .  .  .
