That depends on which Apple version you have (it's between brackets
behind the version that Apple forked). The latest Apple version is 966
(see http://www.opensource.apple.com/release/developer-tools-313/ )
Fairly recently, people from AdaCore have started adding Darwin/x86
support to FSF's mainline gdb, so if you don't mind the experimental
status of that support, you can also build and use FSF's GDB from CVS.
It probably misses several of Apple's patches though.
