How recent is "fairly"? I built myself a GDB about 2 weeks ago (from
the GIT mirror):
$ gdb/gdb --version
GNU gdb (GDB) 6.8.50.20090626-cvs
And that version does not work. It prints something like:
Unable to find Mach task port for process-id 93407: (os/kern) failure (0x5).
(please check gdb is setgid procmod)
But maybe my build target is wrong:
This GDB was configured as "i386-apple-darwin9.7.0".
I will try a CVS version now.
