I hesitate to predict the future... But most likely we will not try to do another big mega-merge, and instead live on our fork. The last merge was too destabilizing, and ended up being a big distraction, and we have a lot on our plates right now.

Is the plan to keep the current fork and continue developing it, possibly occasionally cherry picking patches from mainline GDB? Or do you plan to eventually bite the bullet and either perform another mega merge from FSF GDB, or to merge things back into FSF GDB? (I know from experience that it's not always trivial to get things into FSF GDB)
