Copy File Phase - how to copy an archived file

  • Subject: Copy File Phase - how to copy an archived file

Folks;

I am trying to add an archived file to my application.
I have successfully added it to the project,
I have all the code in place to unarchive it under application control.
I am having difficulties getting XCode to copy the file during the build.
Not matter what I have tried the action creates a warning:
warning: skipping file '/blah.zip' (unexpected file type 'archive.zip' in Frameworks & Libraries build phase)

How do get XCode to add an archived file to a 'Copy Files' build phase?

Steve
