I have tried to simply add the archive to the default 'Copy Bundle Resources' step
I have tried adding the archive to an already existing 'Copy File' phase
I have tried creating the archive to its own step to its own destination directory.
The archive DOES get copied I just don't like the warning - makes me believe something is not right...

Did you read what I wrote? I exactly reproduced your symptom and explained what caused it.


The problem is not that you failed to add it to the appropriate build phase. Flailing around by adding it to all and sundry build phases isn't going to fix things. What you have failed to do is _remove_ it from the build phase where it shouldn't be. The problem is that it's in the Link Binary with Libraries build phase when it shouldn't be.

To be fair, he didn't add it homself. Xcode adds .zip files to that phase for Java development.
