I am almost continually getting the status "GDB: timed out fetching data" when trying to debug. The only recourse once that happens is to quit and restart. Maybe one chance in ten of getting past that point.
Does anyone know what causes this timeout, and what I can do to avoid it?
It rarely occurred unde Xcode 2.4 on Tiger, but frequently occurs under Xcode 3 on Leopard. Way too frequently.

Have you tried the solution found at http://lists.apple.com/archives/xcode-users/2006/Nov/msg00136.html ?
