Suddenly, the entire text of an implementation file turned Chinese.
It happened after I clicked a search result in the Project Find window.
It happened in Xcode 2.5 on Leopard. I tried to open this file in Xcode 3 (which I don't use), but it was still Chinese there.
The only change I can think of is that I installed extra 4 GB of RAM.
I've been running into a similar sounding problem with AppleScript Studio application .applescript files. AFAIKT, this is probably not the same code area as that for C language source files. I think it's related to ligatures in the fonts I've selected for these AppleScript files. As differing from my C source files, which always use Courier 10 point with no bolding, my AppleScript files use a bold effect for some categories. For instance if I set a variable's name to "myfile" the AppleScript editor seems to want to substitute a fi for the separate characters 'f' and 'i' and this screws up the script compilation. My workaround is to close the window and re-open it. Then the problem goes away for a while. It is a bother though.
