It lies! At least if you delete one that is already in the organizer and
try to drag in a new one. You have to manually drag it into your

You shouldn't ever have to do that. Please file a bug, describing exactly what you did.

Confirmed, had the same trouble. But restarting Xcode helped in my case.


That (and a few other issues) finally got me through.

BTW, maybe everyone but me knew this, but if you want to debug on the
phone itself, you have to permanently destroy your $700 iPhone for any
normal use (like telephone).

This is simply not true. Nothing that Xcode (or any provisioning profile) does to your phone can possibly affect your cell-phone service.
