Can't debug unit test

  • Subject: Can't debug unit test

Hi all,

I'm attempting to debug a unit test bundle of my Cocoa app. My unit test builds fine and calls the appropriate test methods. But if I attempt to Run > Debug the product of the test bundle *after* I choose Build > Build, my application runs as if the bundle was not injected into it. Also, my breakpoints in the source of the bundle turn into orange/hollow breakpoints.

I followed Chris Hanson's wonderful instructions: <http://chanson.livejournal.com/120740.html >. I also followed these instructions <http://www.mailinglistarchive.com/email@hidden/msg14003.html >. I also modified the ~/.gdbinit file to prevent the debugger running in another shell but this had no effect. I'm using Xcode 3.1 on 10.5.6.

Any ideas or thoughts?

Thanks,

Kiel
