I wanted to stop the concept implementataion of virtual processors
on MAC . I know this can be stoppped in windows through bios's
hyperthreading but I cannot find such an option in mac . I do also
know that one can disable one cpu (in case of multiple cpu ) for the
time being but my intention is to stop the multiple virtual threads
that each processor sprawns and just have 1 physical processor in
place .
Does anyone has any idea on the same ???
I think this has nothing to do with using Xcode. I also think it's a
bad idea -- someone with an 8 core machine might be pretty annoyed.
Finally, Apple's MT-SMP mailing list might be more appropriate for
this sort of question.
