I have a new question:
I understand the docsets are designed the way they are for the reasons
they were designed (yes, it's circular thinking)...
However, I want to know if there could be a way to create docsets that
essentially do a diff/patch-style updating like linux kernel sources,
etc instead of having to do a big "all-for-one, one-for-all" download.
It feels as if the docsets are binary-incompatible from version to
version of Xcode and it just seems as if Dev Tools Engineering is
brilliant enough to solve this problem.
Should I go ahead and file a bug report? Apple DTE? What do you guys
say?
Live Playfully,
Sam

It's pretty well known that if you don't open the iPhone 2.2
documentation immediately upon starting Xcode, attempting to view it
will crash Xcode.
Xcode just updated me to version 14.8, and the problem is still
there. Will it be fixed in a later version of Xcode, or is there
some sort of reload I can do with the new docset that will cure it?
Xcode 3.1.2, iPhone SDK release.
