Re: Tiger, Xcode 2.5

For some yet unknown reason, the likelihood of encountering the following
distcc errors has increased significantly in the past month. Yet I cannot
figure out why, nor have I found anyone or anything discussing this kind of
failure anywhere.

...
distcc[11694] (dcc_readx) ERROR: unexpected eof on fd16
distcc[11694] (dcc_r_token_int) ERROR: read failed while waiting for token
"INDR"
distcc[11689] (dcc_readx) ERROR: unexpected eof on fd23
distcc[11689] (dcc_r_token_int) ERROR: read failed while waiting for token
"INDR"
distcc[11688] (dcc_pump_readwrite) ERROR: failed to write: Broken pipe
...

Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what is going on? And even an idea as
to what to do to prevent it?

I note in the "Distributed builds" preference panel that there are no
systems listed other than my own. Is the solution in this case to merely
disable distributed builds? I will certainly give that a try...
