Thanks Chris but that doesn't do it for me. I have neither Xcode 3.1 nor OS X 10.5.

I downloaded some sample code from Apple's web site (FancyAbout) and it is implemented as a PBproj. The application that came with it works just fine and shows the demonstration but simply incorporating the files in an Xcodeproj doesn't work and I was looking for an easy way out.

1) Rename FancyAbout.pbproj to Old.xcodeproj
2) Open Old.xcodeproj. Xcode will ask you to upgrade it. Save it as FancyAbout.xcodeproj.
3) When the project opens, choose Project > Upgrade All Targets in Project to Native... to upgrade to the Xcode build system
4) Build and run. It works.
