I can't reproduce right now in Safari at the page you mention, but
it *has*
also happened to me in Safari. Basically I've just given up
complaining. :)
This situation can definitely occur in Safari, as there's a WebKit
issue at the core of it. If there's any repeatable case, please do
complain, and we'll investigate and fix it. It's a very annoying bug
and we don't want people to have to live with it.
To our knowledge the bug itself is not sporadic; either the triggering
functionality is there or it is not. If this occurs on a page and
then goes away with a refresh, somewhere in the system the data was
likely cached. Once the issue is gone it should stay gone, and we've
updated all documentation that we believe exhibited this issue.
