XCode tells you,-
"build succeeded", but program does wrong things, and you go looking
for errors in your code, while you don't find it's not your bug, but
your tool's bug!
Even simpler:
compile a C program; remove some headers from some source files program compiles without error and you get all kinds of crashes when running it.
So you can't try removing possibly redundant headers from source files without risking problems.
