Hi all,
I'm a complete beginner to Xcode but having lots of fun. I ran into an
issue last night -- after I installed 3.2.1, I can no longer add
outlets/actions in Interface Builder. Here's some context:
Running 10.6. As of last night, I was running 3.1.4 with no problems
doing iPhone development. Growing a little bored with that, I decided
to try some simple OS X development. Everything was fine until I
received my first build error when I realized I hadn't downloaded the
OS X SDK. Downloaded that, installed. Once I installed *that*, it
seemed to wipe out my iPhone SDK.
So I re-downloaded the iPhone SDK, and when I installed I noticed
Xcode had been updated yesterday from 3.1.4 to 3.2.1. Cool I thought.
Fired up Xcode, liked the new splash/project screen, do some coding,
then double-clicked my xib to fire up IB.
Everything is fine in IB until I try to add actions/outlets in the
inspector pane. There's no option/area at all to add these. I've tried
deleting/re-adding views/controllers, deleted Xcode/IB plists,
everything... I seem to have lost the ability to add outlets and
actions.
Any thoughts? (sorry if this is the wrong list...)
Jay
