Cannot remove undocumented and useless "Page" item from project window toolbar

Hi.

Xcode 3.2 project windows have an undocumented and utterly useless "Page" item on the left of the toolbar that I cannot remove. Well, I can, but it reappears every time I close the project and open it again.

I'll file a(nother) bug report on this, but I'm curious. Why was this thing put there in the first place and why isn't it mentioned anywhere in the documentation (not even in the release notes)?
