xcode doesn't stop on breakpoints

Hi Guys,
I am new to xcode development,
I installed latest xcode 3.1.4 (it includes iphone sdk)
Now when I start a new project for example
Command line tool - Using Foundation framework for example...
and click in gutter on a line in main function, bookmark is blue, then I run Build and Debug
debugger console opens says gdb starting etc... execute the program exit and it didn't stop on the break point, even tough they were enabled and active ???
I was researching the list and internet but no luck with build setup, lazy symbol loading etc...
Any help how to troubleshoot this issue?
