Thanks Chris,
However I set a valid path for a gdb log but I don't see it is generated when I debug... how to generate that log file?
I reinstalled xcode by running uninstall-devtools perls script...
I installed again the latest version 3.1.4 with 3.1.2 iphone sdk and for some reason even tough I deleted /Developer, when I created new project I am still having the same problem. Break points doesn't work, settings for the project include Debug Symbols ...
Program runs but never stops on any of the breakpooits...

The first thing to do is to turn on debug logging (Xcode > Preferences > Debug), capture the log, and post it here or email it to me to look at.
