I have a need to build an app against one of the older iPhone SDKs

possible to move an SDK from within the Developer folder on one
machine to another, what are the steps?
If you go to the iPhone Dev Forums (http://devforums.apple.com/iPhone)
this topic is addressed at great length. Nickel summary: you don't
need the 2.2.1 SDK to deploy to 2.2.1 devices; just set the iPhone
Deployment Target to 2.2.1 and use the 3.0 or 3.1 SDK. There is no
2.2.1 Simulator on Snow Leopard in any case.
