It is expected. Syntax coloring uses the index. It does
superficial C-syntax coloring while the index is being generated,
then fills in the richer symbolic information when the index is
available.
How can it be expected that just the initially visible part is not
colored, but if you scroll up or down, the lines that become visible
are properly colored?
