Exactly right point Paul!
We have own lists for our Valentina Database, and we love that people at
first discuss issue on list, then if we - team confirm it is really a bug or
feature request they go to our tracker and post issue.
During such discussion on list -- we hear opinions, and believe me, very
often users of Valentina bring ideas more flexible or more powerful than
they was originally in our team.

Big companies are afraid to show how many bugs have the current version of
their product :-)
IMO any closed systems loose info and become less effective.
There are a lots examples in the world history.
But that is their choice :)
