I'd like to think this list (within reason) is a place for people to say what they think and express their desires, yes.  I think that's healthy.  One could, for example, reference a thread on this list in a subsequent bug report if there was popular support for some suggested enhancement.
 
So, Ruslan, maybe *now* is the time to submit an enhancement request :)  You certainly have my vote.  You can do this at bugreporter.apple.com and you can reference this thread via the archives:

Unfortunately though, bug reports / enhancement requests are not publicly viewable.
