That's too bad – I recently realized how often it trips me up. I just
whipped up a plug-in though to disable this behavior, so if anyone
else is interested, you can find here it:
http://themha.com/InhibitTabNextPlaceholder.zip
Just build the project and relaunch Xcode – it'll be installed during
the build process. Tested with Xcode 3.2.5, and it'll probably break
with one of the next updates.
