How I install old iPhone Simulator/Device in Xcode 3.2.5

Hi, I am trying to do a iPhone program with backward compatibility. I installed the xCode 3.2.5 and it only have the Simulator/Device for 4.2 iPhone IOS system. (The Xcode 3.2.4 have for the IOS 4.1)
How or where I can install old iPhone Simulator/Device? And where can I find docs about it? I am trying a lot and have no idea.
I am also trying to do the weak link for iPhone. Is it possible, right? There are some good docs about weak link only for iPhone (I found for Mac OS X).
