I find the document "SoftwareDeliveryGuide.pdf" on Apple's site which has a section titled "Adding a License Agreement to a Disk Image", which eventually points me to the link

This is a document from 2003(!), directing me to use ResEdit and doing things I haven't thought of in years. This feels so MacOS 9. Is there a more modern way to add software license agreement to a disk image?
