Or do what I did: buy a second-hand 'Wind Tunnel' G4 for a
couple of hundred dollars or so with Tiger installed.  I find it
useful to have a slow machine to test on in any case, and the G4
certainly qualifies :)  It also allows me to test on Power PC.

But secondly, you should get either a remote desktop connection
to your 10.4 testing machine, or -- if you are an ADC Select
Member -- you can remotely use Apple's Compatibility Lab (a bit
of advance notice is required).
