I think you want one of the build settings in the Interface Builder XIB Compiler - Options section.  The description of the Overriding Plug-In and Framework Directory, and the suggested value given therein, seems like an exact fit with your need.  If not, then maybe the Plug-Ins, Plug-In Search Path, or Other Interface Builder Compiler Flags settings will work.
