Knowing that it's way off-topic doesn't make it any more legitimate to post it anyway.
Have you looked at the list of mailing lists on lists.apple.com to find a more appropriate one?
If you genuinely can't find any appropriate place, try a general purpose Q&A forum like stackoverflow.com.

Oh please, the last thing we need is a flame war about email style. Top vs. inline vs. bottom posting is a religious debate, not a settled point of etiquette, so leave it alone unless you're trolling.
