Thanks James.  That in conjunction with cleaning the cache cleared the error.  There are still issues with it refactoring.  The latest one is a really simple scenario where I wanted to rename a method, it was able to find the method in the header and the xib but not in the .m file.    I'll file a bug although these issues are sometimes hard to repro.
