Question on pulling values from a Form, manipulating the values, and posting the results to another Form

Hello, everyone.

I'm new to Xcode and C++. I'm trying to build up some experience with Interface Builder and Xcode by piece-by-piece building some utility apps for personal use. Unfortunately, I'm still unable to figure out how to pull the numbers from one Form (a vertical matrix of NSFormCell objects), apply differing equations to those values, and putting the results into a different Form.

In a "teach a man to fish" manner rather than "give a man a fish" would someone explain what is involved or point me to where someone illustrates this sort of process? I'm perpetually dead broke so it needs to be on-line and not a paid-site.

Thank you so very much for any help provided.
