iPad upgrade

I did "Upgrade current target for iPad" on my app. It created a new xib file for MainWindow. In it is a Window object which contains an EAGLView. Both have a frame of 320 x 480. Using Interface Builder I can edit the EAGLView to be 768 x 1024, but the same items in the Window inspector are grayed out and cannot be changed. How does one make the window the size of the iPad screen?
