How to Inspect Method/Function Args Under GCC 4.2

  • Subject: How to Inspect Method/Function Args Under GCC 4.2

I started using the new GGC 4.2, but I can't seem to inspect arguments anymore. When I try I get "Argument to arithmetic operation not a number or boolean":

(gdb) po *(id*)($ebp + 8)
Argument to arithmetic operation not a number or boolean.

Is there some new trickery needed now?

TIA,

Keary Suska
