Hey all,

This may not be the right forum for this, so if you know of a better one please let me know.

But what on earth are people using to create the alpha-only PNGs that are required for the icons on iOS buttons?  I know the requirements, but have yet to find any software that writes such files correctly.  Photoshop CS5 won't.  I tried a little app called Opacity, but no dice there either.  I even tried Shake.

I've used opacity to make icons for buttons and it worked as far as I can tell. What is supposed to be happening that isn't for you?
