Xcode 4 and static library install location

  • Subject: Xcode 4 and static library install location

Hello, all ...

I am really trying, but i'm finding Xcode4 to be difficult. I'm trying to build a UPNP client library for iOS, and even though i've specified the installation build products location and installation directory (for debug and release builds), Xcode insists on putting the .a file in ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData ... etc., which is about the most inconvenient place I can imagine. How do I tell Xcode4 where to put the .a? Any help would be appreciated :-)

Regards,

John
