New Xcode projects have only 2 "pages" (or sections)?

  • Subject: New Xcode projects have only 2 "pages" (or sections)?

I have been using the All-in-one layout for a long time in Xcode. I always liked the ability to switch to the "Project", "Build" and "Debug" panes using the keyboard (Command-0 for Project, Command-Shift-B for Build and Command-Shift-Y for Debug). All my current projects have been created a while ago have these basic 3 "pages" (not sure why they are called pages but that's the tooltip I get when I move the cursor over the segmented control in the toolbar on the extreme left).

Now, I just created a new project and I'm finding that the "Project" and "Build" pages have been merged. How can I get a specific page for Build? I liked having a specific page for the Build section because I could make the top section of the page larger to see the results of the build. Now, it switches the file list above the editor which I usually keep much smaller when I'm working on a project and editing files.

There must be a way to restore the Build page since older projects still show those 3 pages in the segmented control in the toolbar. So, how can I modify my newer projects to show the same?

Thanks in advance!

-Laurent.
