Hmm, that was it. Strange, I'm certain I've never touched that
setting. I didn't even know it existed, but somehow it changed on two
different Macs. Thanks a lot, this was driving me insane.

> I believe your screenshot shows that you've set "Show Setting Names" and "Show Definitions" for the Target editor. You don't get the nice interpreted settings (like popup menus) if you've set Show Definitions. Toggle the setting (it's the last item in the Editor menu) and you'll get the popups.
