Title: Re: No Breakpoints on Unused Variables
Well, now it’s letting me do it.  I had to force it to update by doing a minor edit and recompile.  This is one of the problems I‘ve been having with xcode.  It doesn’t always flag edited files for recompile.  I often have to do deliberate edits to force an update, clear warnings/errors, etc.  Sometimes, I can only clear warnings/errors by doing a recompile.  If there is a way in xcode 4 to force a single file to reevaluate or recompile, I haven’t found it.

Are you running in debug mode? If not, the compiler may optimize (evaporate) an unused variable.\
