Are we no longer able to include symbolic links to source files in projects ?
Steps to Reproduce:
• I want to include Foo.m in a project. Foo.m is not in the project folder.
• Create a symbolic link to Foo.m.
• Drag the symbolic link into the project folder.
• Drag the symbolic link into the project.
• Edit Foo.m in Xcode.
• Click "Save".
Expected Result:
Edits should be saved.
Actual Result:
A sheet announcing:
"Foo.m could not be saved. The file does not exist."
Notes:
Project builds OK and runs OK, except that the sheet shows again, each time I build or run, apparently because it's saving all files. To fix that mini-problem, close and re-open the project.
Regression:
I never had this problem with Xcode 3.

Is this a feature in Xcode 4.1, or should I report it as a bug?
Thanks,

Why do I want to do this? I like to do this when assembling a demo project, for example to send to Apple Bug Reporter or DTS. I drag symbolic links to the auxiliary source files I need into the demo project folder, and then add the symbolic links to the demo project instead of the actual files. This way I'm sure that, after zipping the project folder, since 'zip' follows symbolic links by default, the person receiving the zip archive will have all the files they need to build.
