How to export target settings as a configuration file?

So, if I want to switch a project over to using configuration files for its build settings, how do I export the current target build settings to a configuration file to start from? In Xcode 3 this used to be possible [there was a button or context-menu item or something in the target editor] but I can’t find anything comparable in Xcode 4.

(And yes, I’ve checked the Xcode IDE docs, infuriatingly patronizing though they are, and of course they didn’t say anything.)
