There might be a better method, but here's what I use to move settings from the project to a configuration file. While viewing the build settings in Xcode, select the build settings you wish to put into the configuration file, copy, and then paste into a text file. It won't let you copy settings with multiple settings, so a "Select All" probably won't work.
